Iztaccihuatl: 5,218 m (17,160 ft) dormant volcanic mountain in Mexico is to the north of Popocatépetl, to which it is connected by the high altitude Paso de Cortés.
 Nevado de Toluca 4630 m  (15,223 ft)  is a large stratovolcano in central Mexico

 4 days Itinerary

If you do not have any experience in high altitude, you could do a “ Izta and Nevado “ , you can climb a high mountain in Mexico:

We have a program of gradual acclimatization:

1 day

will meet you at the Mexico City transfer to rest in Nevado de Toluca beginning the acclimatization process.

2 Day

One trekking day in the first summit of "El Nevado de Toluca"  is a nice volcanoe,

back and sleep Hotel in Mexico City

3 Day.

Our drive continues towards Popo-Ixta National Park and to the Paso de Cortez, named after Cortez crossed the pass in 1529 en route to the city of Tenochtitlan. We will spend the night in camp  (3950m)/ 11,703'

Ascender at "Grupo de Los Cien" (4780m) / 15682ft hut, 

Ascender to first summit in las "rodillas" (5050m.) / 16568ft and if you feel good you can go to the principal summit "los pechos" (5218m.) 17224ft and go back to Mexico City

Included in this itinerary are the following:

• Transportation from the airport or hotel to the mountain and back, 
• A personal, well-trained and experienced mountain guide
• Collective safety gear: ropes, carabiners, tends, etc.
  • See “Mountain Equipment” section for the personal gear you’ll need
• Ascender certificate
• Base camp lodging (Is this what you mean when you write “base camp”?)
• Purified water to fill your water bottles
• All cooking equipment: stoves, dishes and accessories

Without Meals:

In this option, which we highly recommend, you bring your food or we can shop on our way to the mountain (we have supermarkets like WalMart here). This way you can eat what you like and is best for you.

With Meals:

In this option we supply the food and do all the cooking while at the mountain, any additional meals or food (snacks or meals while traveling) is not included in the pricing below
